Philippians 4: 12-13
I know what
it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have
plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in
any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry,
whether living plenty or in want. I can do everything
through him who gives me strength.
Like Paul, as I continue to read God’s
word, understand his message more clearly and witness
His good works, I find contentment. It is a journey
worth taking, my friends. We may not be in jail like
Paul; yet we often create false walls that hold us back.
Let us always seek to hear God’s message and be willing
to follow it.
As we celebrate the birth of Jesus and
more fully comprehend the Lord’s precious gift of his
son ~ let us reflect on God’s many blessings in our
shared ministry in Thailand since August.
In spite of a threatening court case,
the school continues to grow in numbers. At 550 students
we must turn away students because of lack of space. We
wait and trust that the Lord will show us the way in
2010-2011. We expect a message soon from the appellate
court.
We are surrounded by a slow but
meaningful country-wide national Thai church
development. Methodist missionaries – the Morrissey’s
have started 11 churches in southern Thailand. And,
their efforts are coordinated with other mission groups
throughout the entire country. This and other efforts in
discipleship are the reason Grace International School
exists.
The Library holdings exceed 24,000 print
items. The online catalog and all of its information
databases are now web-based allowing families to
remotely access information, renew items and place holds
via the Internet. Check out library services on the GIS

We had the best ever book
fair in November with revenues topping our all time
record of 88,000 baht. That amount translated into over
$600 (US) free books for the library.
We reached out together to visit and
offer gifts and school uniforms to the CPCDO orphanage
in Phnom Penh. Thank you kids and church family at
Harlem UMC!
